In this paper, I investigate whether Electronic Health Record adoption in hospitals affects labor market decisions of physicians within the hospital. I find of increased physician retirement and likelihood of switching from a hospital to an office setting. I find further evidence of productivity gains for physicians who do not change their labor market behavior.
